I’m Samuel Scott, a dad, filmmaker, producer, and writer who helps people tell true, meaningful stories that connect.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked with organizations like ESPN, Sporting Kansas City, University of Tennessee Athletics, Friends of the Smokies, Tennessee Kids Belong, Thrive, Fellowship Church, and 5 Star Preps.

As a filmmaker, I’ve directed award-winning documentaries such as Show to Show and Austin Boys, the feature-length film One More Week, and created Game Film, a behind-the-scenes high school football series rooted in East Tennessee.

At Sporting Kansas City, I led the move to story-driven video marketing, creating the hit series Behind the Shield and directing the “All for the City” campaign. At the University of Tennessee, I helped transform live-event streaming and launched the video board show for the Knoxville Ice Bears.

From 2021 to 2025, I served as Video and Podcast Coordinator at Fellowship Church, producing six international documentaries for the 2023 Film Fest and developing the church’s print journal, Sons & Daughters.

Whether producing a podcast, directing a film, or writing an essay, I am always chasing the thread that cuts through the noise and speaks to something real.
